25 YEARS of TROPICAL-TUBE of LUI HOLZINGER
25 years ago I started with the construction of windsurfing boards, together with some friends: Jaques Deboichet and Gunter Gitzoller , the brand name: Tropical-Tube.
In the same period I constructed boards for other companies like: Elesse e Drops.

This kind of activities I learned from my friend Sigi Hofmann, a well known guy in that time, Sigi made prototyes for Hi-Fly, Ostermann and  BIC-MARINE.
In the summer our working places has been at Lake Garda, Italy, winter time we spend on the islands of Hawaii.
For 8 years I constructed windsurfing boards (speed boards, race boards, wave boards) for professionals and for allrounders. In addition I constructed free climber walls, bike parts, carbon handles for mountain bikes, and for race bikes, used in the olympics.

1986 was the year when I started with the construction of snow boards. First I did it only for fun, later it became a profession,  because many athletes won with them, now ovr 20 years of success!

With my boards 5 olympic medals have been won, and 21 medals during the world championships, and lots of titles at the european chamionship. At the 2006 winter olympics 20 athletes used my beards.
